Restarting School: Paid Dinners

We are now in a position, with a number of mitigations, to reintroduce a paid school meal to anyone who wishes to avail of this service.
This will commence on Monday 5 October, starting on Week 2 (a sample menu is attached).
Due to cash handling restrictions, as a result of Covid-19, our new procedures are:
· On a Monday send an envelope for each child in your family, with the child’s name clearly marked and the day(s) they will be having a dinner;
· Family envelopes can no longer be accepted, it is individual envelopes only;
· Please send the correct money, sealed in the envelope. Change cannot be given at this time;
· Dinners are £2.60 daily;
· Cheques can no longer be accepted.
Please note:
· Dinner money can only be accepted on a Monday. For example, it will not be possible for a child to pay for a dinner on a Thursday. If a child wants a dinner on a Thursday, then an envelope has to be in school on the Monday. The child’s name and Thursday should be clearly marked on the envelope, with the correct money enclosed and then sealed.
Your co-operation in this matter is necessary to reintroduce this service.
Our dinner menu is attached. It comes from an outside catering kitchen so may be subject to change.
