Y2 Pupil of the Month Assembly
25th March 2020
We hope everyone is keeping well and we miss you. Time to cheer everyone up with Y2's Pupil of the Month Assembly which they were unable to perform live but sure that wasn't going to stop them!
Due to the current circumstances the Year 2 class assembly had to be cancelled this month. We were all really disappointed as the children had just started to begin to learn words for songs and their speaking parts. So we couldn't let all their hard work go to waste. We decided that we would make a short assembly video of what we were going to expect in 2 weeks time.
The assembly is really relevant at this time with the children providing us with special messages and advice on how to boost our confidence and self esteem, how to stay positive and manage our feelings and how to be a good friend to everyone.
The assembly finishes with proud/happy moments from all the children in Year 2. They can also show you at home the special talents that they were going to perform to the whole school including Irish Dancing, Soccer Skills, Gaelic Skills, Gymnastics, playing the Tin Whistle and Ju Jitsu (which unfortunately we had no time to video).
We really hope you enjoy the video.
Thanks everyone and stay safe.
