Izak9 in Key Stage 2

Over the last few weeks our Key Stage 2 children have been engaging in practical, problem solving activities using Izak9. Using Izak9 in our numeracy lessons has helped our children to develop a range of different skills including:
- Working with others;
- Problem solving and decision making;
- Communicating mathematically and thinking flexibly;
- Confidence and willing to take risks and
- Trying out different methods of approach.
All children engage in meaningful Izak9 lessons termly using our progression grid and task cards from Y5-Y7. Children have high levels of enjoyment and engagement when using the Izak9 resources with their peers.
