Confirmation

We are pleased to be able to announce dates for our Confirmation Class of 2020.
Service of Light
Service of Light will take place on Wednesday 26 August @ 7 p.m. in the church. Please bring your child's baptismal candle to the service. Following the service, Fr McGrath and the teachers will speak with the children about the Confirmation ceremony. This should take 30 minutes and we would ask you to wait in the car park during this time.
Confirmation
Confirmation ceremony will be celebrated by Fr McGrath on Wednesday 2 September @ 4 p.m. in the church.
Social distancing regulations will be in place at this date and as a result you will understand that there will be changes to this year's arrangements for Confirmation:
- A pew will be assigned for each family. This will include the Confirmation child, sponsor and a maximum of 2 other family members.
- Catering after the service will not be possible.
- A photographer will be available for family photographs in the school after the ceremony.
The Parish will inform the post-primary schools regarding arrangements for Glenravel’s Confirmation.
Further details will be emailed to parents.
We look forward to seeing the children returning to their primary school and to their parish for this very special day.
