Antrim Camogie Competition

25th November 2020

A message from the Secretary of Antrim Camogie. Please support our camogie team and good luck.

As you may be aware our Senior Camogie Team have reached the Liberty Insurance All Ireland Intermediate Final against Down, scheduled for 5th December 2020 at 3.45 p.m.

In the current circumstances no spectators are allowed to attend the game, nor are we able to have any open training sessions or press nights to promote the game. We do not want to miss the opportunity to inspire a younger generation and have decided to run a Poster Competition and ask you to encourage all your pupils (girls and boys) to design a poster to wish the girls good luck in their final.

There are no restrictions on the theme; it can be a 'good luck poster', a self-portrait of the young person if they were attending the game, a drawing of their favourite Antrim Senior Camogie Player or anything else they come up with.

The entries can be emailed to secretary.antrim@Camogie.ie or they can be handed into your teacher (with your name, class and school on the reverse). The closing date for entries is 2nd December 2020.

We will showcase entries on our social media pages and a number of prizes will be awarded.

We hope you will get behind this and show the team that even in these strange times the entire County is behind them.
