Y5 Visit the Museum

Y5 were very excited to visit the Ulster Museum today to explore the Ancient Egyptian exhibition. The children have been learning facts about the Egyptian way of life and were thrilled (and slightly shocked) to see a real mummy!! Thinking caps on and clipboards at the ready, the children scanned the display cases for clues to help answer questions in their booklets. This was a wonderful experience for the children, who gained so much from seeing real life artefacts. The children enjoyed a quick tour of some of the other exhibits before heading home.
