Y4 School Trip
21st June 2022
Primary 4 had a wonderful school trip, on the warmest day of the year. The weather may have been good but the best part of the day was taking part in Ulster GAA’s inclusive Gaelic games' workshop. The children had the opportunity to experience sport in a wheelchair and in doing so, come to a better understanding of the needs, challenges and opportunities their classmate encounters every day. A beautiful experience, we are all better for enjoying together.
Thank-you to Shane McCann from Ulster GAA for facilitating the session.
We then made our way to the park and like all good athletes we enjoyed a bit of healthy eating. Well if you call slush puppies and ice-cream healthy-eating.
Enjoy the photos.
