Y2 Shared Ed Trip to W5

We had a great day at W5 with our friends from Camphill.

Firstly, we went to the climbing wall which spanned two levels of the building. The play area was next. Here we had lots of fun with different role-play activities like shopping and re-building a house which the Big Bad Wolf had destroyed!

After that, we took part in a minibeasts workshop. We discussed the various types of insects that can be found in our gardens and then we tried to look for them using magnifying glasses on a floor mat. We learned all about the anatomy of an insect and using this knowledge, we sorted images into insects and non-insects.

We even got to build our own insects which we got to take home.
