World Maths Day 2022

In MQP we are delighted that we have been able to celebrate World Maths Day this year with all our classes in school. World Maths Day is one of the largest global educational events held every year. This day aims to get all children excited and enthusiastic about learning maths.
In MQP all classes explored a range of fun, practical and enjoyable activities to help develop their love for maths. Many of the activities delivered in school were linked to our class themes and had a number of cross curricular areas of learning involved.
Children engaged in maths trails, number/shape hunts, problem solving investigations, circuit challenges, number games, class quizzes as well as our whole school 'Top 10 Mathletes Challenge.'
