World Maths Day

Mary Queen of Peace pupils and staff will participate in World Maths Day on Tuesday 5 March 2019.
Children can dress in a number and, throughout the day, will complete maths activities and games with many spot prizes.
This day also allows us to fundraise for our maths scheme which is much needed within our classrooms.
From 26 February the children will be able to ‘buy a number’ for the chance to win a ‘happy hamper’. The number grids will be located on both sites and winning numbers will be drawn on World Maths Day. So get thinking about those special numbers! A £1 donation towards the prizes on World Maths Day would also be appreciated. ‘
Positive or negative, big or small, prime or square, we can wear them all.
