World Around Us in Primary 6

As part of the World Around Us theme for Term II, Primary 6 had a fantastic educational visit from Michael Sayers, a former art teacher at Garron Tower and a bit of a bird expert! It was amazing to see all the real-life bird models up close and learn about their different habitats, diets and migration patterns - they are such fascinating creatures! The children then took part in a tonal drawing exercise, sketching the birds from life and using pencil to add tone and shade. The children produced some very impressive work. Well done Y6 and thank you Michael!
