Viking Day in Primary 6

P6 had an active day pretending to be Vikings.

In the morning we took part in brooch making; played Viking Battleships to work on our coordinate;, construction through lego and writing in runes. In the afternoon there was block play and we worked together to build a Viking longship that we could sit it.

We also carried out a science experiment to see if we could make a Viking longship out of tinfoil and sail it to carry marble Vikings. A very successful and fun day was had to conclude our Vicious Vikings topic.

Thank you to all the parents who provided amazing costumes, you are all very talented!
