Viking Day in Primary 6

Here’s a little insight into Primary 6 and their Viking Dress Up Day. We were incredibly impressed with the effort that went into the children’s costumes, they were amazing.

Today we took part in multiple Viking activities including designing a Viking shield, constructing Viking longships using magnetic polydron, as well as a shadow experiment. We also used Just2Easy on the iPads to explore Viking homelands and settlements, along with creating a 3D boat model.

We thoroughly enjoyed today and it was a lovely way to wrap up our Viking topic.
