Trócaire: Education & Fundraising

Trócaire is an important part of the ethos of our school. We have the twin aims of raising money for Trócaire, as well as helping the children understand developing world issues.
Mrs O’Mullan’s class used their school assembly to introduce the pupils to Miriam and her family. The assembly focused on the impact of climate change in Guatemala and how it impacts on the lives of people in the developing world. Mrs O’Mullan class showed us all how Trócaire is working alongside people in the developing world to improve their home, work and school life.
Alongside the educational message our Primary 1 pupils lead MQP’s fundraising drive for Trócaire. Well done everyone.
