Our Trócaire total for 2023 is: £949.91.
Thank-you to everyone in the school community who helped raise money throughout Lent.
A huge effort goes into our traditional big fundraisers: Green Day (Primary 6) and Copper Coin Collection (Primary 1). In addition to fundraising, we also learn about developing world issues in our curriculum.
Mary Queen of Peace is a Take 5 school. We are learning the 5 simple and practical steps to help maintain and improve our wellbeing.
We have been using the acronym C L A N G to help remember the 5 steps:
CONNECT, keep LEARNING, be ACTIVE, take NOTICE, GIVE
Our work for Trócaire Connects us to the developing world, we keep Learning about global issues, we take Notice of others and we Give.
