Trócaire’s Lenten campaign across Ireland, gives the children the opportunity to learn about the developing world.
Mary Queen of Peace PS supports Trócaire’s work for a just world. This year the children will be learning about Malawi.
One of the traditions in our school is to have a weekly copper coin collection, on a Friday. The Primary 1 children visit all of the classes with their copper coin collection buckets. For everyone in Martinstown, this is a real treat. We get an opportunity to see the Primary 1 children and it helps us feel like one school.
