The School Council welcomed our new Vice-Principal to the school with a get to know you conversation. The children came up with a number of questions to find out more about the newest member of MQP!!!

Do you have any children? Yes. Two boys (3 yrs & 1 yr)

When you were growing up, did you know that you wanted to be a teacher? Undecided
Why did you want be a teacher? I always wanted to work with children
Were there any other jobs you would have liked to have done? A dance teacher
What school did you transfer from? St Mary's PS, Gortnaghey
What class did you teach? P1 & P2 together

What is your favourite TV show or movie? The Chase
Do you enjoy reading? What is your favourite book? Yes. Harry Potter books.
What is your favourite treat? Anything Cadbury
What is your favourite food? Chicken, champ and pepper

Do you play an instrument? Tin whistle
Did you Irish Dance when you were a young girl? Yes, Lepord's School
Do you like any sports? Camogie and hurling
What team do you like? Banaghar (Co. Derry), thinking I am going back to play again. County teams - Tipperary and Limerick.
Do you support the same team as your husband? Swatragh. My husband likes Man Utd, I am not too bothered but I think the boys might in the future.
Did you coach any teams? Yes, St Patrick's College Maghera. As well as U16 and U18 camogie in Banagher.
