The Month of the Holy Rosary- Reflecting on the Sorrowful Mysteries
13th October 2026
During the month of October, our children have been focusing on the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary, spending time learning about and reflecting on the events of Jesus’ Passion and Death. Through class discussions and prayer, the children developed a deeper understanding of the importance of the Rosary and how it helps us grow closer to God.
We were delighted to welcome Fr Paul to our school this month. He visited every class and spoke with the children about the Rosary and the significance of prayer in our daily lives. The children thoroughly enjoyed his visit and were eager to share all that they had learned. Fr Paul was very impressed with their knowledge, enthusiasm, and thoughtful responses.
On the Feast of the Holy Rosary, our school joined with communities around the world in prayer, answering Pope Leo’s call to pray for World Peace. It was a special opportunity for our pupils to come together in faith and unite their prayers with those of millions of people across the globe.
We are very proud of the reverence and commitment shown by our pupils throughout this month and thank Fr Paul for taking the time to visit and encourage our children in their faith journey.
