The Choir at the Ballymena Festival

What a wonderful day for our school choir and their teachers (Miss McGurk and Ms Rodgers) alongside pianist (Ian Hannah), at the Ballymena Festival.
The choir looked splendid on the beautiful stage at The Braid. The judges and the audience, supported wonderfully by Team MQP Parents, were treated to two songs the children have been working on from the beginning of the school year. Singing in the Bath (well why wouldn’t you?) followed by Whisper, and both were performed beautifully.
Mary Queen of Peace’s choir were placed 2nd in the competition. Well done everyone, we are super proud of you.
The choir have no time to stop because it is the Peace Proms’ concert in Belfast on Sunday. A busy time and this is what we want, our pupils working hard in school and developing their many talents, both in and out of school.
