Take 5 Award for the School

We have achieved our Take 5, Level 1 Accreditation. Well done everyone.
The pupils have spent this first year in the programme trying to introduce five simple steps into their daily life to help maintain and improve their wellbeing, their ‘five a day’: Be Active, Give, Connect, Keep Learning and Take Notice.
Mrs O'Mullan and Miss J McGurk, who have led the initiative, attended the Take 5 Accreditation ceremony on behalf of our school. It was a pleasure to be there and CONNECT to so many other schools, who shared fantastic ideas about how they implement Take 5 in their schools and we LEARNT a lot. The fantastic Deborah Mullan from Tree and Tide, was happy to GIVE us some important life hacks on how we can NOTICE our behaviours and we are eager to be ACTIVE in bringing them back to our school.
We want to promote the wellbeing of our pupils and staff, so next year we will go for our Take 5, Level 2 Accreditation.
At the ceremony we were joined by our shared education partners, Camphill PS, who we really connect with.
