Shared Education Term 1 Update

This year, all the classes are taking part in the Shared Education programme with Camphill PS (Ballymena). Class teachers have already met and planned out a scheme of work for the children, in both schools, to work together on during the 2021-2022 academic year.

The children have been meeting-up and working collaboratively with their Camphill friends virtually during Term 1. Through Google Meets and Teams Calls the children have had the opportunity to meet and greet; share stories and songs; take part in virtual quizzes; work on and share animation and coding projects; and take part in an Izak9 workshop.

Roll on Term 2 when the face-to-face meetups will begin. The children are so excited about this, and we only hope that Covid situation after Christmas will allow this to go ahead.
