Farewell to Last Year’s School Council
Thank-you to last year’s School Councillors. Your work was very important in 2024-25 and included: hosting the Education Minister, who announced a new school build for Glenravel; the school inspection, where the inspectors were full of praise for the work of the councillors; and the School Council even found time to organise a new school team kit competition!
Welcome to the School Council for 2025-26
Primary 5-7 took part in School Council Elections as part of our Personal Development and Mutual Understanding (PDMU) curriculum. The Primary 5-7 children voted electronically for their preferred candidates.
Congratulations to all the children who put themselves forward, you did really well. We are a Take 5 Steps to Wellbeing School, which means we Give (we give our time and effort to makes things better for everyone) and we Connect (we are a school family).
Our new School Council will meet later this month to begin the work of making our school even better.
