School Council Elections: 2026-27
2nd October 2026
Farewell to Last Year’s School Council
Thank-you to last year’s School Councillors. Your work was very important in 2025-26 and included: organising hampers and selling tickets; suggesting ideas for fundraisers (including Break the Rules Day!); and providing a Christmas treat for the pupils (across both sites). The School Council were also involved in the new school build, including: interviewing the contractors and sharing their ideas about the new school; as well as representing the school community at ceremonies to mark the beginning of the construction work.
Welcome to the School Council for 2026-27
Primary 5-7 took part in School Council Elections as part of our Personal Development and Mutual Understanding (PDMU) curriculum. The Primary 5-7 children voted electronically for their preferred candidates.
Congratulations to all the children who put themselves forward, you did really well. We are a Take 5 Steps to Wellbeing School, which means we Give (we give our time and effort to makes things better for everyone) and we Connect (we are a school family).
Our new School Council will meet later this month to begin the work of making our school even better, as well as preparing for the big move to the new school.
