School Choir

Congratulations to our school choir who took part in the Ballymena Festival and were Highly Commended for their singing. The children performed two songs for the judges, beginning with the American folk song Shenandoah. This was followed by the contrasting, high energy Last Minute Calypso.

Thank you to Niaomh Rodgers (Stage Presence) and the pianist Ian Hannah. Our choir has been working under the guidance of Miss Walsh and Miss C McGurk from the start of the school year. We appreciate your help with nurturing the children’s love of music.

We are very proud of the children:

• Proud of every child who put themselves forward, to stand with confidence on a stage and perform in front of the public.
