School Aid Romania Sponsored Walk

Today saw the children of Mary Queen of Peace take part in our first ever Take 5 event, our Sponsored Walk with all money raised going to School Aid Romania.

We were very fortunate that Mr Jim McQuaid, a trustee from the charity, was able to join us for our event. The children completed their laps of our school playgrounds with Christmas music accompanying every step.

This was a very successful and thoroughly enjoyable experience for all. Congratulations to all the walkers, both children and staff, who definitely got their steps up today. To the families and friends of MQP, a huge thank you for the donations.

We really appreciate your support and generosity. The final figure raised was £2,345.
