Rounders

Congratulations to our rounders team who were runners-up in the SW Antrim GAA Cumann na mBunscol competition.
The team went through the group stages undefeated, before beating Toome in the semi-final. In the final, it was a repeat of the group stage match with Ballymacrickett. MQP won the earlier game but the Ballymacrickett team, deservedly, won the final.
It was though, a super day of inclusive sport. Thank-you to the Cargin club for the use of their wonderful facilities. Our thanks also to Moneynick PS for being super hosts. Mrs McConway (Moneynick PS Principal) taught the boys and girls when they were in P2 in Glenravel and it was special to receive the medal form Mrs McConway.
That is a wrap for the GAA season and for the Primary 7 pupils who have put on the MQP jersey with pride. Well done
