Contribution to School Life Award.
Congratulations to all our prize winners and their families from Mary Queen of Peace’s 2019 Prize Day.
As our school year nears its end we held our annual Prize Day to celebrate the children’s achievements in sport, the arts, the environment, culture, academic studies and friendships. Individual trophies were presented to the children by their teachers, as well as medals for teams from Sports Day.
Prize Day is also an opportunity to remember the busy year that has just passed and boy was it a busy year with Annie the musical, school sport teams, after school clubs, ECO initiatives, School Council, trips, the sacraments, quizzes, Trócaire, Shared Education, festivals, singing, piano tuition, Sports Day, Maths Day, Accelerated Reader and much, much more……………..
We are not done yet. Our Y1 pupils will premiere their movie for their parents; we also have the Leavers’ Mass and Presentation; and to finish – a PTA Summer Disco.
