Primary 7's Taster Day at St Killian's

Primary 7 had a fantastic time at St Killian’s Taster Day today, making the enjoyable journey towards 'The Castle'. The boys and girls were buzzing with excitement as they arrived, greeted with delicious pancakes and milk, which set the perfect tone for a fun-filled day ahead.
Our first stop was Home Economics, where the pupils learned how to bake Halloween-themed cupcakes. They were thrilled to get creative and decorate their sweet creations! Next, we headed over to Technology, where everyone made their own desk tidies, complete with a cheeky ghost design that matched the day's Halloween theme.
After a busy morning, it was time for lunch, and the children were treated to a lovely meal, adding to the enjoyment of the day. The afternoon continued with plenty of Halloween-inspired activities. The students had fun in Art, creating 3D pumpkins and a Spooky Halloween Card. We finished the day with a thrilling Science experiment, learning about indicators to solve an intriguing mystery and watching a pumpkin explode.
All in all, it was a fabulous day, filled with laughter, creativity, and great experiences that the children won’t forget!
