Primary 7's Business Sale Day

As part of our New Beginnings topic for Term 3, our Primary 7 pupils delved into the exciting world of entrepreneurship, learning what it takes to start and run their own business.
Working in small teams, they used Google Slides to present their creative business ideas to the class. After a round of persuasive pitches, a lively vote and blending of ideas from several groups into one - a winning business idea emerged: MQP SHOPPING SPREE!
With a business name and logo in place, the pupils got to work on two creative products: sweetie cones and magnetic bookmarks. From production planning to marketing, every aspect of the project was completely pupil-led, helping develop vital skills such as teamwork, problem-solving and enterprise.
Excitement grew as the class prepared for their big SALE DAY, and what a day it was! We were absolutely overwhelmed by the support from everyone who purchased our products—your kindness and enthusiasm meant the world to us.
On our first count, we are thrilled to share a potential profit of £480! 🎉
Plans for spending this money is well underway. The first event funded by your generosity will take place this Monday 16 June, when our Primary 7 pupils will enjoy a fun-filled morning of ‘wheelchair’ sports, promoting inclusion, empathy and teamwork in an unforgettable way.
