Primary 7 Visit Titanic Belfast

Primary 7 had a great opportunity to bring their classroom learning to life with a visit to Titanic Belfast today.

Our tour guide Aidan brought us around the ten galleries and pointed out important information on different parts of the Titanic's story

A look down the slipway helped us to visualise the true size of this wonderful ship and gave us an opportunity to see the Harland and Wolff cranes in the skyline nearby.

Our Solve the Case workshop exercised our problem solving, teamwork and creativity skills as we used different artefacts to work out who was onboard the Titanic, what kind of lives they might have lead and why they were travelling on the Titanic.

It was a very memorable trip and a super way to finish off our Term 2 topic, Unsinkable!
