Primary 7 Visit Titanic Belfast

25th March 2024

Primary 7 had a great opportunity to bring their classroom learning to life with a visit to Titanic Belfast today.

Our tour guide Luca brought us around the ten galleries and pointed out important information on different parts of the Titanic's story.

We also had the chance to get onboard the Nomadic ship, the last remaining vessel to be built by The White Star Line company and a ship which carries its own little bit of history.

A walk down the slipway with our tour guide Andrew helped us to visualise the true size of this wonderful ship and gave us an opportunity to see the Harland and Wolff cranes in the skyline nearby.

It was a very memorable trip and a super way to finish our Term 2 topic, Unsinkable!
