Primary 7 Shared Education Day

Primary 7 joined with their Camphill friends today to learn more about their topic, 'Unsinkable'.
Research skills were developed through ICT, where the children had to find out about six well known characters and how they were related to the Titanic story.
Our scientific skills were put to the test in Mr McCullough's classroom, where the children explored the science behind how things float. Could they make a foil boat to carry some pennies?
Miss Scott provided the children with some interesting information relating to icebergs and then through art, allowed the children to create an iceberg scene using ripped paper.
The snowy weather really made our day all the more special and during lunch the children from both schools got together to create a snow bunny! 😊
We look forward to meeting up with Camphill again in March when we will visit the Titanic Visitor Centre in Belfast.
