Primary 5 Shared Education Day

8th May 2025

What an incredible way to wrap up our Shared Education programme this year! We’ve truly been blessed with lovely weather, which made our final trip a day to remember. It was a wonderful opportunity for all of us to come together, make new friends, and continue to strengthen those friendships we’ve formed throughout the year.

Today, we celebrated all the brilliant things we’ve accomplished together. The first session was led by Miss McGurk, where we brought to life the picturesque scenery of Red Bay in Cushendall. Using Just2Easy, we had a fantastic time animating the lifeboats, and it was amazing to see our collective creativity come to life on screen.

Following that, Mr McCullough took us into the outdoor classroom where we were given the chance to explore our artistic side. We learned how to sketch beautiful flowers, surrounded by nature, which certainly added to the inspiration of the day. It was refreshing to be outdoors, appreciating the beautiful surroundings while honing our art skills.

Meanwhile, Miss Simpson took her group to the play park to soak up some sunshine. It was great to see everyone enjoying the glorious weather and having a bit of fun together. Whether it was sketching or playing in the park, laughter and friendship filled the air.

As we look back on this school year, we are very thankful for the experiences we've shared and the bonds we've built. Each trip and activity have brought us closer together, and we’re filled with gratitude for the unforgettable memories we’ve created.
