Pirate Day in Primary 2

We have had a fantastic day today in P2 celebrating our Pirates Day! It was a great way to bring our topic, term and year to an end. Everyone looked amazing in their pirate outfits – thank you parents!

We had lots of fun digging in the sand for our pirate loot and sparkling jewels, and enjoyed plenty of our favourite activities – drawing and crafting! The children made beautiful, colourful fish, pirate masks, and designed their own treasure islands complete with exciting features and hidden treasures.

Unfortunately, we didn't manage to do our outdoor treasure hunt today as the weather and the midges weren't on our side, but we're hoping to enjoy it on Monday instead.

We finished the day by watching the classic Peter Pan, and the children have a couple of little treats to bring home.
