P7 Visit Tesco

Monday 8^th of May our P7 class visited Tesco to learn more about our topic Fairtrade. Our guide was called Tara and she helped point out important information such as country of origin, grams per jar, price and packaging. Our problem solving investigation was to solve whether Fairtrade products are more expensive than non Fairtrade products. To explore the investigation we gathered and analysed our data, entered the information into spread sheets and then created bar graphs and charts. We found all products varied in price and that other factors such as packaging, amount purchased, brand, storage availability and popularity also affected the value.
