NI Water visit Primary 5

Pat, from NI Water, visited Primary 5 today. He was very impressed with our knowledge of the Water Cycle from our Liquid Gold topic. Pat taught us all about the water treatment system, about each stage in the cleaning process. We also discussed what waste should be put in the toilet and what we should be putting in the bin. This helps to conserve our water and assists in the cleaning process. Pat spoke to us about the dangers of single use plastics in our seas and provided each child with their very own reusable water bottle.

What a great way to finish our Liquid Gold topic.
