New School Build: Update June 2026

Before the summer holidays begin, we would like to provide you with an update on construction work for the new school build.
All of the foundations are complete and work is nearing conclusion on the ground slabs for the various rooms. Block work is underway for the classrooms and steel work has been completed on the assembly hall. Externally, retaining walls have been built on the perimeter of the site and the right turning lane into the school will be complete, with the tarring of the road due next month.
Over the summer you will see block work continue, as well as drainage work across the site. The internal glass courtyard will be constructed over the summer too.
In school we have been preparing to decant from the old school sites. You may have noticed the skips! In the new school year we will begin to order the furniture for the school and purchase ICT equipment for the classrooms.
The plan remains to move to the new school in the summer of 2027.
