  2. You are very welcome to enter your child in the Open Verse-speaking section of the Festival (classes labelled SV). Please look at the Festival website www.ballymenafestival.net where you will be able to view and download the syllabus. This gives details of the classes that your child may enter.
  3. Follow the prompt to be directed to the website 'Play and Perform'. Register as a user and follow the prompts to make an entry.
  4. Please be aware that entries close on 30 November 2022 and late entries will not be accepted.
  5. The Festival Secretary has prepared poems, 'Set Poems 2023'. Please email the Festival Secretary (details below) and she will send the poem, via e-mail, as a pdf. This means that you do not have to buy any books.
  6. Details of the timetable for the Festival will be sent out towards the end of January.

The Festival Secretary’s contact details are on the Festival website, and if you wish to email directly for the poems, her address is hazelbonar@hotmail.com.

The Festival are very keen to welcome the children in the SV classes and hope that the everyone enjoys taking part.
