Shared Education is an important part of our vision for Mary Queen of Peace PS.  We have established a link at Y4 with Camphill PS.  This project is up and running and we are pleased to announce that we also have a link with Clough PS too.

With the support of the Residents’ Association, a get to know you day took place at the Adair Arms for twenty five of our Y6/7 pupils and a similar sized group from Clough PS.  The children played ice-breaker games together; went on a specially organised trail around Ballymena, searching for clues; ate lunch with each other; and there was even the time to put on virtual reality headsets!

The children from both Clough and Glenravel will work together in an after-school club to develop an app, to promote areas of interest in the local community.  This will involve the children visiting both schools.

Mrs McConway will lead this project and we look forward to developing mutual understanding between the children as well as promoting cutting edge ICT skills.
