Mageean Cup Visits MQP

We had a special visitor in school today – The Mageean Cup. St. Killian’s College students Niall Hynds and Cormac McKeown returned to their old primary school to show the boys and girls the trophy they won, following the Ulster Colleges’ success.
Niall and Cormac, accompanied by their principal Mr Brady, visited their old classroom to speak about life in St. Killian’s College and their sporting year.
It is always a pleasure to see our former pupils return and a very proud moment for Mary Queen of Peace PS to welcome back pupils form the school’s very first Primary 7 class. Our congratulations too, to Joseph McKay and Daire Higgins who also won Ulster Championship medals; both boys were in Primary 6 in the first year of MQP.
It is now on to the All-Ireland series for St. Killian’s, with the good wishes of everyone in Glenravel.
