July Online Safety Newsletter

As we enter the summer months, we may find that our children are online more or having more screentime. The July newsletter addresses this reality and provides a variety of additional information to keep us informed of the changes taking place in the online world.
Childnet have produced a blog on how to help our children manage their screentime, as well as providing a mix of online and offline activities to help keep our children entertained over the summer months.
You can find out information on how to switch on 'safe searching' settings for the search engine that your child uses. However, please remember that no filtering/ parental control is 100% safe, so it is important that you talk to your child about how they can stay safe online and that they should talk to you or another trusted adult if they need to.
