Hats and Shades Fundraiser – Friday 1st May 2026 ☀️🧢

We are delighted to announce the first of our fundraisers to help raise funds for our exciting new school playground facilities.

On Friday 1st May, we will be holding a Hats and Shades Day. This will be a non‑uniform day, and we invite all children to come to school wearing hats and sunglasses, along with summer‑themed, appropriate clothing.

As we move into the summer season, this fundraiser is not only about raising money for our school, but also about teaching children the importance of staying safe in the sun. Please remember that although the days are getting warmer, it can still be a little chilly, so children should bring a light coat.

The cost to take part will be:

• £3 per child
• £6 per family (To be given in by the eldest child in the family.)

We truly appreciate your support in helping us improve our school environment, and we are very much looking forward to a fun and sunny day for everyone. Let's hope the weather is on our side.
