Grandparents' Day 2018

As part of Catholic Schools' Week, we celebrated the role of the family.
Grandparents are a very important part of the children's families and we were delighted to celebrate Grandparents' Day in Mary Queen of Peace PS.
We started the day with Mass and then on to the Parish Hall where grandparents, special family members and parents enjoyed refreshments, courtesy of the PTA. Following tea, our guests of honour got the opportunity to view the giant collage of grandparent photos.
Thank-you to our parents for sending the photos to the school and for our staff who did such a wonderful job of displaying the images.
We were also busy with the camera on Grandparents' Day and a display of photographs will be exhibited in the Church over the next two Sundays.
