Cumann na mBunscol Girls’ Gaelic Tournament

We had a successful day at the Girls' Football tournament in All Saints Ballymena today. The MQP Girls showed great skill and determination in the group stages, coming up against some strong opposition. We qualified for the Cup Competition and met Moneynick P.S in the quarter final. This match was so evenly contested and could have gone either way with both teams drawn on 1.01 each with 30seconds on the clock. Unfortunately, Moneynick got the rub of the green, scoring a last minute goal to qualify for the semi final.

Every single girl can be proud of themselves today. It was wonderful to see confidence growing as the tournament progressed and countless passages of great team play and scores.

Well done girls. We are all very proud of you!
