February Online Safety Newsletter

Ahead of Safer Internet Day on Tuesday 8th February, February's Online Safety Newsletter addresses the very important issue of 'Being Kind Online'.
Our children are online for many reasons,(for example playing games, watching Youtube videos, completing school work, using Snapchat, Instagram etc) so it’s important that we teach and talk to our children about being kind online, for example only posting positive comments, don’t say anything they wouldn’t say in real life and treat others as they would expect to be treated.
The newsletter also provides up-to-date information on two social networking platforms called Yubo and Discord. Are your children using these apps and if so do you know enough about them?
