Egyptian Day in Primary 5

On Friday, the Primary 5 classroom travelled back in time to Ancient Egypt.

The children dressed up in costumes and everyone looked fantastic. We were busy conducting a science investigation which helped bring the mummification process to life in the room.

We created and painted canopic jars using clay and also made collar necklaces and cuff bracelets using beads.

Through the use of the iPads and green screen we were able to successfully place ourselves in the heart of Egypt.

We concluded our day with a taste test, however the dates received mixed reviews.
