CyberPAL Training Programme

6th April 2022

Share:

We have organised for The Dry Arch Children's Centre (Dungiven) to deliver their very popular CyberPal talk to the Year 6 and Year 7 pupils on Wednesday 6 April 2022.

CyberPal is a fully accredited, interactive training programme designed by the Dry Arch Children’s Centre to help children and young people understand the dangers of bullying and cyberbullying behaviour, as well as how to stay safe online. An awareness around cyberbullying has become a very important issue for both parents and young people living with the influences of social media.

Following on from the pupils' talk, there will also be a Parent Workshop, open to all MQP parents (not just the parents of children in Year 6 and 7), in Martinstown School @ 7 p.m. on Wednesday 6 April 2022. This workshop will last approximately 1 - 1.5 hours and will provide parents with valuable information about the online world that our children are growing up in.

We hope to see you there.

Mrs Gormley (ICT Coordinator)
