Cumann na mBunscol 7-a-side hurling

Mary Queen of Peace travelled to Tir na Nog in Randalstown today to compete in the Cumann na mBunscol 7-a-side hurling competition.

They played 6 group stage games, winning each of them and topping the group. Mount Saint Michael's PS were our semi-final opponents and our boys came out on top after a great game of hurling.

St Patrick's Rasharkin were the opposition in the final. It was a tight and well-matched game of hurling with both teams giving everything they had. Unfortunately for us, today Rasharkin came out on top with a narrow victory.

We are so proud of our team, how hard they worked and the sporting way they conducted themselves whether they won or lost.

They are a pleasure to work with, well done.
