Cumann na mBunscol Indoor Tournament

Our P7 girls were runners up today in the Cumann na mBunscol Indoor tournament held in Antrim Forum. We played 5 group games and topped our section, meaning we went straight in to the semi finals where we met Creggan PS for a second time.

Some brave goalkeeping helped us on our way to a 3-1 victory in the semi-final and in to the final where we faced a very strong Moneynick team. The final was a very physical game with plenty of skill on show. Unfortunately we just came up short at the final whistle but each player can be very proud of their performances today.

Well done girls. Thank you to the parents who were able to support us on the day and to Lucy who helped with transport. We are already looking forward to the outdoor tournaments.
