Cross Country: Round 3 (UU, Coleraine)

The final round of the Causeway District cross-country competition took place at Ulster University (Coleraine). Athletics NI stages three rounds of the regional competition and this is the pupils’ favourite track, as it includes hills and muddy ground. The weather on the day was beautiful and perfect for some high quality running.
Congratulations to everyone who took part in the races. This was our best team performance across all three races and a super way to end the season. Final results from the day will be published on Athletics NI’s website and we have runners competing for places in the NI Finals.
We are blessed with terrific athletes in MQP. The attitude of every runner is spot on; they compete at a high level, always fairly; and support and encourage each other. Our runners are also backed up by #Team MQP Parents and, as always, we are very grateful for your support.
Our traditional end to the season is a treat on the way home. That went down well too!
